A Year to Grow, Serve, and Explore Calling in Dublin

The Dublin Collective Internship is a citywide initiative designed to help form and develop emerging leaders through real ministry experience, shared training, and life in the local church.
It’s an opportunity to be immersed in the life and mission of the church in Dublin, while growing in faith, character, and leadership.

What Is It?

The internship is a collaborative initiative across churches in Dublin, where interns are:

  • Rooted in a local church

  • Part of a citywide training cohort

  • Exposed to a range of ministry contexts across Dublin

Each intern is rooted in one church but benefits from the shared strength, relationships, and learning of the Dublin Collective.

What You’ll Experience

1. Real Ministry in a Local Church

You’ll be part of the life of a church, serving in:

  • Sunday gatherings

  • Small group / community life

  • Outreach and mission

  • Leadership and ministry teams

You won’t just observe, you’ll participate and take responsibility over time.

2. Shared Training Across the City

You’ll gather regularly with other interns from across Dublin for:

  • Teaching and formation

  • Leadership development

  • Prayer and community

  • Learning from leaders across different churches

This is a unique opportunity to experience the wider church in Dublin, not just one context.

3. Exposure to Mission and Church Planting

Through the Collective, you’ll:

  • Visit different churches and ministry contexts

  • Learn how the gospel is lived out across the city

  • Engage in mission initiatives together

4. Community and Cohort

You’ll be part of a cohort of interns who are:

  • Learning together

  • Praying together

  • Supporting one another

This shared experience is a key part of the year.

Who Is It For?

The internship is for those who:

  • Want to grow in their faith and understanding of the gospel

  • Are exploring leadership or ministry

  • Are considering long-term service in the church

  • Want to give a year (or part of a year) to serving and learning

You might be:

  • A recent graduate

  • Early in your career

  • Already involved in church and looking to grow

What Does It Involve?

While each placement will vary slightly, interns can expect:

  • 3-4 days per week of involvement

  • Serving in a local church context

  • Participation in citywide training (twice monthly)

  • Involvement in outreach and mission

  • Ongoing discipleship and support

How It Works

  • You intern within a participating Dublin Collective church

  • That church provides your day-to-day ministry context and support

  • The Collective provides training, cohort, and shared experience

Funding

Most internships are:

  • Self-supported, or

  • Supported through local church or personal networks

(This may vary depending on the hosting church.)
